A terraced garden and potager, Bunyola, Majorca (Spain)

A visit to a small terraced garden in Bunyola, Majorca.  The location of the garden is incredible and the views to the Sierra de Tramuntana are stunning!  the garden is mainly a potager, orchard that provides the family with organic veggies and fruits, salads, mainly local varieties, which speaks of the passion of their owners for sustainability.  It is well maintained following some rules of permaculture and even in the harsh weeks of the Mediterranean summer it keeps offering succulent products.

All in all, this garden is a feast for the eye and the kitchen!

Urban vegetable garden roof top, Hotel Wellington

This is a preview of one of the projects I am currently developing. 
The Hotel Wellington Madrid opened last spring a Urban Vegetable Garden on its
 roof top, and I am documenting the process of preparing the new season.  The project 
was designed by renowned chef Florian Domezáin, with the purpose of providing 
the kitchen of the restaurant Raices with fresh organic vegetables. Right now the 
garden is offering winter vegetables, but it is being prepared for the next sow 
at the beginning of the spring.  This first shoot was done on a very cold ad windy day, 
and I was happy that we even had some snow flakes floating! 

And the views are absolutely spectacular!!
